Calibre Cleaning - House Cleaners Melbourne

Reasonably priced for cleaning of a large home that took four hours to complete. Booking process was smooth, communication from the cleaning team was prompt, confirming arrival time. Staff member was friendly, worked hard and only too happy to do his job. He even went further to tidy up our patio area. Our home was left sparkling clean ready for Christmas and arrival of our overseas guests. I would highly recommend the Calibre team.

Honestly, I wouldn’t recommended this company to a friend or an enemy. I paid for a deep clean and checked in advance that products and equipment would be provided. The cleaner showed up without a vacuum or mop, and only cleaned the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. After a few calls with the booking teams (it was a too challenging to communicate with the cleaner directly) it was agreed they’d come back to compete the floors and unfinished areas. There was no mopping done at all and they claimed they “wiped the floors” with a rag the first time and that was enough. There was also a claim that the oven was cleaned and I should accept that in lieu of the floors, but it definitely wasn’t done. Still chasing a resolution/refund weeks later. Once payment is made this company tends to stop replying. Poor quality work and poorer customer service. Edit: After escalating profusely, I did receive a full refund.This was my experience off a single clean and based on other reviews in seems that it’s really hit and miss depending on the cleaner you get. I won’t be rebooking because I value my time. I ended up mopping my own floors and cleaning the rest of the rooms. Saga over, still wouldn’t recommend.

There are two things that destroy a service, a lack of professionalism and not being responsive when it comes to addressing your error. Calibre Cleaning has managed to be both of those and also delivered a service that lacked quality. What was poor. We have a three floor townhouse. We advised Calibre that due to the fact that we are time poor we really needed someone to come in and do a professional job , one that would save us the time having to do the work. The team was in and out in 50 mins, which was extremely fast. Certainly when I reviewed their work there was fault everywhere, so many elements missed and so many aspects that we needed to clean again. When I complained to Calibre directly they did respond, however their options for resolution were terrible. They identified either a redo, which they were not flexible on or a $30 refund. In all honesty the $30 refund was an insult. Considering we paid $266 for the service this tokenistic gesture was deplorable. If you consider the value of $30 to the amount of time they spent, it's equivalent to 5 mins work. Really, is that fair in light of the unprofessional service and lack of overall response? Do you think 5 mins could solve for everything that you missed? Of course I anticipated a response from the provider on this review, something like a) We offered you a redo - which yes, they did, and we politely asked for it at a time that would suit us, after our guests were to leave, and b) yes, they offered a small refund which you can see, was more than just a little dismissive in light of the poor service. So guys, don't use Calibre, there are plenty of other providers that will do the job and not waste your time with contractors that don't care about what they're doing. I mean really, why would your contractors need to utilise my vacuum cleaner to vacuum a room. Should you come with your own? I've asked now to speak with a team manager or senior but no response. Still waiting....

Absolutely shocking. Do not waste your time. I booked a full house clean and was told a team of 2-3 would arrive between 9-10am fully equipped with cleaning equipment. Got to 10:30am and the cleaning team never showed up. After multiple calls I was told multiple excuses - they were struggling to get in contact with their team, they were still at a previous job, having transportation difficulties, were on their way 10-15 minutes away, someone from the team would call me with an update. 30 minutes later we give up and try to call multiple times to cancel the job - no answer. Eventually, ONE person arrives 1.5hrs late without any equipment, without any calls, looking very confused and not wanting to do the job. Obviously, we did not go ahead with the clean. Eventually I could get a hold of Calibre to cancel and complain, I was then notified that there is usually a same-day cancellation fee but she will see what she can do in this case....?! What an absolute waste of time. DO NOT BOTHER.

Way over priced… although the cleaning lady was nice and on time. I wouldn’t call it a “deep cleaning” for what I got was really just a general cleaning. I decided to go with this company in a hurry; didn’t have time to do my research thoroughly. Now I regret my choice! With close to 500 dollars; I certainly would have found a much better service than this! The company’s admin was over communicating: I got multiple calls from them asking me to explain time and time again. Poor communication! Making things complicated for no reason. Also for deep cleaning; the cleaner had no “deep cleaning” products?! I can use soap myself to clean! Overall very disappointing indeed and will never use it again.

HORRINLE SERVICE! Worst cleaning jobs ever done. I paid $800 for an end of lease cleaning plus steam mop and nothing is done right. Carpets not vacuumed, hard floors not mopped- can see dirty boot marks all over the floor, still have cob webs around. They provided a reclean only for another round of dissatisfaction. DO NOT RECOMMEND. I NEED A REFUND!
